This cabin way exceeded my expectations! My boys loved being able to walk out to and play in the creek and I loved being able to drink my coffee looking at the creek. Felt like we were one with nature but at the same time it had great internet so we could connect with the world when we wanted to. We will definitely be back!

An amazing place to stay - right on the mountain creek, clean and well-kept cabins in a perfectly peaceful and private space. Booked it for an overnight stop on a road trip but will probably plan return trips specifically to visit these cabins. My dog loved the area and the water especially

This was a wonderful place. Very quiet and serene. The river could be heard from the back deck. The area was gorgeous. The home was cozy and inviting. Very clean and comfortable. Had most anything needed. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again.

The Montebello area of VA is one of the most beautiful in the state. I had been looking for years for a place just like Jerry's. The month of May featured rhododendrons and mountain laurels in pink lavish bloom. As some reviewers noted, there are a few other cabins being completed on the site--this was no problem for us. The woods were peaceful and grand. There were roads to walk and nearby hiking trails with thrilling calls of the Louisiana Waterthrush. Other highlights were the fire pit with wood provided, chairs to sit close to it as night cooled, and a picnic table to eat comfortably right beside the river. We went on a great trail ride at Appalachian Horse Adventures 10 minutes away after we checked out. We're back home today but with awesome news to share: heaven is not far!
