An amazing place to stay - right on the mountain creek, clean and well-kept cabins in a perfectly peaceful and private space. Booked it for an overnight stop on a road trip but will probably plan return trips specifically to visit these cabins. My dog loved the area and the water especially

This was a wonderful place. Very quiet and serene. The river could be heard from the back deck. The area was gorgeous. The home was cozy and inviting. Very clean and comfortable. Had most anything needed. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay again.

The Montebello area of VA is one of the most beautiful in the state. I had been looking for years for a place just like Jerry's. The month of May featured rhododendrons and mountain laurels in pink lavish bloom. As some reviewers noted, there are a few other cabins being completed on the site--this was no problem for us. The woods were peaceful and grand. There were roads to walk and nearby hiking trails with thrilling calls of the Louisiana Waterthrush. Other highlights were the fire pit with wood provided, chairs to sit close to it as night cooled, and a picnic table to eat comfortably right beside the river. We went on a great trail ride at Appalachian Horse Adventures 10 minutes away after we checked out. We're back home today but with awesome news to share: heaven is not far!

We had a wonderful stay! This place is a jem. I definitely would like to return. It was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the stream for hours.

The pictures didnt do this place justice! So nice and new! Private setting. Make sure you bring food as the closest restaurant was about 30 minutes away. Awesome host!! I have zero conplaints and I will return!!!

This cabin is perfect for a single or a couple on a weekend getaway. The cabins are in an awesome spot with great views of the creek. There are four of them, so could be cool for a group to rent them all as well!

The cabin I was in had a beautiful view of a stream outside my window. I did some hiking around the area and it was very nice and beautiful to be in nature. The cabin was perfect for what I was looking for (some peace and quiet). It had all the basics I needed (pots, pans, dinnerware, stove, fridge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags) and the bed was comfortable. the host was extremely friendly and a pleasure to interact with. They are responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend them and would come back to this place again.

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The place was clean and had all basic necessities. Added perk of a Keurig with a couple coffee pods and creamer which made for a nice morning on the porch by the water stream!

Going off the pictures we saw online, we were pleasantly surprised the location is more beautiful than the pictures. Each cabins view was of a trickling stream and forest on the other side. Very tranquil and rustic. There were a total of 4 cabins at the time we stayed. Which is a nice amount without the property being jam packed with cabins and other people. My family occupied 2 of the 4 cabins. The cabins were new so the entire cabin was clean. Very comfortable and spacious for 2 people per cabin. The property had some construction debris (scraps of wood/trash etc….) laying around on the ground. I assume that will be picked up in the near future. Each cabin has its own fire pit The stockpile of wood was appreciated. The plastic lidded bin of wood was nice so we have dry wood to start a fire. Very nice, clean accommodations.

My stay was great! The location was beautiful and very peaceful, and the cabin was perfect to come back to after a day in nature. The cabin was very nice and had more than enough amenities for my stay. The host was great at navigating some bumps in the road and was very accommodating. Will be staying again!
